
We are excited to announce that our USIDPC Professional Event will once again take place in the Broadmoor Hotel International Center on Friday, January 6, 2023.
Prizes awarded to each winning duo team will be:
1st place $3,000
2nd place $2,000
3rd place $1,000
Application Deadlines:
Application fee is $250
Professional Early Decision Deadline: October 30, 2022
Early Decision results announced: November 5, 2022
Regular Professional Deadline: December 1, 2022
Regular Professional results announced: December 5, 2022
USIDPC offers early decision deadlines as a convenience to traveling competitors. Other than early results and having more time to make travel arrangements, there is no benefit to a particular deadline. Please choose the deadline that works best for you.
Recordings:
Please submit a recording for preliminary judging. The total allotted time limit is
15 minutes. This could include one or two duo works, depending on length.
Only unedited recordings will be judged. Final judging will be in person at the
evening competition event on January 6, 2023. Monetary awards will be
presented at the conclusion of the concert.
Movements of sonata or concertos are acceptable. All works should be written
originally for two pianos; or they must be transcribed by the composer.
All pieces must be memorized. No changes in repertory will be allowed between
the preliminary and the final performances.
Final Performances:
Final performances will be in person on Friday evening, January 6, 2023 Concert attire.
